A day of introspective practices in the beautiful Wye Valley to bring you into the present moment. This is for the new yogi or seasoned practioners.
Nestled away from the hustle and bustle of day to day modern life, the spacious and charming Mckenzie Hall in Brockweir offers the perfect backdrop for a day of indulgence, self inquiry and deep rest on the mat as we re-awaken to spring.
We’ll start the day with some pranayama to wake up the lungs followed by a creative vinyasa flow practice with a focus on journeying through the chakras to invigorate the body.
A delicious vegetarian lunch will be provided by Healthy Kitchen coach Emma Evans. Emma will also be sharing some simple tips and tricks from the kitchen to help you make healthy meal prep that bit easier.
There’ll also be time during lunch to explore the area and go for a walk on the Offa’s Dyke footpath which runs next to the hall. Alternatively you can just sit, chill and chat.
The afternoon practice will incorporate somatic inspired movement, restorative yoga and yoga nidra to help you work with the parasympathetic nervous system and find a deep state of conscious rest leaving you feeling rested, restored and rejuvenated.
There is a small car park and also road parking. Mckenzie Hall is on a hill. If you could possibly car share, that would be great. We really are in the middle of nowhere so the fewer cars the better!
