Tall John House – Brecon Beacons

Join me on weekend of 11-13 April to experience 3 days of creatively choreographed yoga, meditation and yoga nidra in the most beautiful setting of Tall John House nestled in the stunning landscape of the Brecon Beacons, with delicious food in abundance to nourish your body and soul.  Spend your days as you like – exploring the grounds, visiting the waterfalls, taking a hike, taking a dip, or just indulging in afternoon naps or lazy chats amongst like-minded people.  Remember retreats are healing gifts where you can indulge a whim guilt free.

How the days will be organised

Arrival time on the Friday  from 2pm onwards. The first yoga session will be at 5.30pm. The weekend will finish around 12pm on the Sunday.

There will be two varied and enriching yoga practices every day. Mornings will begin with  an uplifting themed yoga practice to spark your day. In the evenings there will be a relaxing restorative/yin style yoga session with yoga nidra to help you drift into the tranquility of the evening.

You can do as many or as few sessions as you like; it is your weekend after all!  In between your yoga sessions there will plenty of free time for you to relax.

Tall John House is situated in the most beautiful area and there are so many places for you to walk and explore. The colours at this time of year are absolutely stunning so if you’re partial to a bit of photography, indulge!

Bountiful offerings of delicious and nutritious food will be prepared by the resident chef. There will be three meals a day.  A sample menu is available if you’d like to see it.  He will cater for all dietary needs so please let me know in advance.

Accommodation

There are 17 spaces in all to ensure there’s lots of space for you to enjoy in the Yoga Shala and dining room.  The accommodation is situated in the manor house, the stables – just across the lawn and saddlers barn also across the lawn.  Most bedrooms have an ensuite apart from two which have their own private bathroom opposite the room so no sharing which I know is quite an important facility on a yoga retreat.  The rooms are all quite different so the pricing reflects the type of room.  All rooms are delightful I hasten to add!!

 

 

Delux King size room (one bed – two sharing)  £820

Delux twin (two sharing) £830 (£415 pp)

Standard twin ( two sharing) £790 (395 pp)

Double room (single occupancy) £495

These are early bird prices and very  competitive.  The early bird offer is available until 31 December .

 

To reserve a space at the early bird price a £150 deposit is required before 31 December.  The balance will be due six weeks before the retreat or you can set up a personal payment plan if that helps.  Once all payments have been received refunds are not available.

I am so excited about this venue – it is truly fabulous and so close to Newport if that’s where you’re travelling from.  A hidden gem. Not sure how I missed it  as I spend a lot of time running and walking in the Beacons!
