What is The Intuitive Body- yoga for menopause
3 years ago I trained as a menopause yoga teacher and have run 15 workshops since for many women navigating this life change. The success of these workshops have inspired me to create a yoga for menopause online course. The research around menopause is constantly changing and my passion is to follow this research and integrate it into the course, so it is constantly being updated. The Intuitive Body is a yoga for menopause comprehensive online course to help support women going through the peri menopause, menopause and post menopause. There are over 30 specifically designed yoga classes, breathing technique practices and guided meditation/relaxation practices as well as detailed articles and fact sheets on everything menopause from the endocrine system to pelvic floor health to help you navigate this seemingly relentless hormonal transition.
The course is designed to help you understand what menopause is, how your body is changing and why, manage the many debilitating physical and psychological symptoms, understand the risks around osteoporosis and heart disease and how to prevent to help them in post menopause, conquer the unexplained midriff weight gain, depleting muscle mass and weakening pelvic floor muscles. There is a whole module dedicated to nutrition and gut health as well as the latest advice and guidance on HRT form The British Menopause Society. There will be no promotion of menopause supplements.
More importantly you don’t need any yoga experience. I will be guiding you the whole way.
