Restorative yoga is a passive and therapeutic form of yoga that provides deep rest for tired bodies, relaxation for busy minds and rejuvenation for the entire nervous system. The yoga concentrates on surrendering our weight to supports and softening stretches helping us to relieve negative stress and emotional strain.
This is a two hour workshop. It begins with some basic pranayama (breathing exercises) followed by 75 mins of delicious restorative postures using props and finishes with a guided mediation. Herbal teas will also be provided to keep you hydrated. Yoga props will be provided but feel free to bring your own blanket.
